Getting Along In The Workplace

August 29th, 2009 by Susan
You’ve found the perfect job; the one that suits your skills and your passion.  But there’s just one problem.  Chances are, no matter where you work or how much you love your job, you may have someone who is a challenge to work with.  Your personalities don’t click, it’s hard to support each other or perhaps they seem just plain mean or uncommunicative.  Don’t let a situation like this jeopardize your career.  You can handle it straight on.

It’s important to identify the problem in order to approach it properly and efficiently.  If you have a good relationship with your boss, he or she can be an excellent resource and referee.  If your boss is the problem or simply unavailable, you might have to speak with your Human Resources department for ideas on resolution.  If you’re not sure what the best choice is and you’re feeling more and more stuck, you may want to speak with a Master Psychic.  An experienced Master Psychic can assess a situation remotely, provide insight and give some healthy guidance you may want to use to help you resolve the situation.  Don’t suffer any longer.  The sooner you put your work relationships in order the sooner you can move on and enjoy your workplace.

LIVING IN THE MOMENT

Living In The Moment

What should I do?  What should I have done?  What will happen tomorrow?  For some of us, these questions constantly fly around our head, keeping us out of the very moment we’re in.  We’re thinking about the past or the future; wishing we hadn’t said something or worrying that we won’t know what to do next time.  We’re evaluating our past or trying to control our future.  While these two activities can help you to understand and navigate through your life, these thoughts may create stress for your mind and body.

So how do we live in the moment?  How do we concentrate on the present?  The very first and most important thing you can do is breathe.  Just concentrate on your breathing; notice how your abdomen expands and contracts.  See if you can feel the air flowing through your nose and down into your lungs, then back out again.  It’s a very simple act; one we take for granted.  But without breath, we have no life.  As our breath becomes regular, our stress level decreases.  You can also lightly touch yourself on the forehead and as you do that, just imagine you are inside your body, looking out through your eyes. This is kind of like being inside your house, looking out your window. As you feel yourself relax, take a calm look around.  Notice your environment as it is right now.  Notice the colors, the people or nature.  From a place of calm comes peace, understanding, and appreciation of this moment, right here, right now.

The Connection Between Mind And Body

August 11th, 2009 by Susan

The brain is a very powerful organ. Think about your dreams; when you wake up, don’t you often feel like what you experienced and felt was real? If you were scared or perhaps running in your dream, aren’t you breathing quickly or even sweating when you wake up? This simple nightly experience is just a hint of how strong the mind-body connection can be.

In fact, there are several schools of thought that believe the state of mind can directly affect the state of the body. Think of the people in your life. Are there some folks who seem to always be complaining about their jobs, spouses or other disappointments?  Do they seem to come down with a cold or flu more often than others?  What about the people you know who are happy most of the time? How often are they sick? Probably not very often. Some theorists believe years of chronic depression, anger and resentment can take a toll on the body.Conversely, continued inner peace and happiness can maintain a healthy body for years and years.  So it becomes extremely important to find balance in your life; you’ll not only feel better emotionally, your body may actually be healthier. If you’re going through a difficult time and feel like your state of mind may be affecting you, our Master Psychics are here to answer your questions, help you calm your mind, sooth your Soul and feel better.

Love and Blessings,

Susan Page
